Customer Rating: Summary: Have not received the product Comment: Have not received the product ... This is lousy! How do I get my money back? Principles of Operations Management (Purchased on 06/29/2008)
by Jay H. Heizer
Customer Rating: Summary: Read the fine print on this seller Comment: Great book as supplement to MBA course - my review of the seller isn't so great. His posting specified the CD as included but it wasn't, and when I contacted him he said there was never an indication the disc was included. It was, in fact, part of the title of his posting. Unfortunately it was required for getting the most out of the book, so this seller let me down. Customer Rating: Summary: Decent book Comment: Let's face it, operations management is not a very exciting topic to cover in the classroom. This book does a good job of keeping the information somewhat exciting so that you do not fall asleep while reading the book. Customer Rating: Summary: The best book in the field Comment: As a teacher of Ops Mgmt and former employee of digital equipment corporation where I was responsible for operations in our biggest expedition center in Europe I think this book is the best book in the world. It's lively and quick (as I'm myself) though It provides students with the knowledge they need. Regards.

Customer Rating: Summary: A Good Text for Principles of Operations Comment: Heizer and Redner have put together a text that covers the essentials of Operations Management. The text is easy to read, yet covers material to whatever depth the instructor wants to take the class. The cases and examples offer 'real life'situations. I would recommend this text for any Introduction (Principles) of Operations Management.
