Her stories about Jacobsville, TX and it's residents are very entertaining. No one combines romance, comdey, and drama the way she does. The stories were written in 1993 and I believe Ms. Palmer's writting has evolved tremendously since then. I was constantly thinking of other things I could be doing and kept the book down. That usually does not happen with her stories. I'll stick to her more recent publications.
