When a horrifying attack leaves one of the four members of the Women's Murder Club struggling for her life, the others fight to keep a madman behind bars before anyone else is hurt. And Lindsay Boxer and her new partner in the San Francisco police department run flat-out to stop a series of kidnappings that has electrified the city: children are being plucked off the streets together with their nannies--but the kidnappers aren't demanding ransom. Amid uncertainty and rising panic, Lindsay juggles the possibility of a new love with an unsolvable investigation, and the knowledge that one member of the club could be on the brink of death. And just when everything appears momentarily under control, the case takes a terrifying turn, putting an entire city in lethal danger. Lindsay must make a choice she never dreamed she'd face--with no certainty that either outcome has more than a prayer of success.

Customer Rating: Summary: Woman's Murder Club Redeems Itself with 6th Comment: I have to say that in the book the 6th Target, James Patterson has redeemed himself from the lack that I felt from the 5th Horseman. Of course I love the characters, I thought the plot was exciting and for me it was a pageturner! I see Lindsay growing up more in this book, especially when it comes to her relationship with Joe. Honestly I would've rather seen her end up with Conklin, but you never know, I guess she still has time to change her mind about things! The "criminals" in this book were two of my favorite so far. Fred Brinkley the insane, but not really insane murder and then you have those baby snatching Renfrew's. I have to say this was an A- for Patterson and Paetro. Great comeback from the last book!
Customer Rating: Summary: The 6th Target Comment: I enjoy James Patterson's books. They move along withput a lot of extra garbage that has nothing to do with the story line. I would recommed any of Patterson's books for anyone who wants a fast but very interesting read.
Customer Rating: Summary: 6th Target Comment: I don't know how this ends. the story was so scattered I couldn't keep up with it and when are some of the characters going to get it together? A disappointing book and the end of my interest in this series. Too bad the TV series was just as bad.
Customer Rating: Summary: Best one in series so far Comment: I love how such a diverse group of people read these books. I totally disliked the 5th book because it was disjointed and made no sense, but others loved it. In this one, I felt Patterson tied everything together in the end with great stories through out. I loved this one. Can't wait to see if Schitzo man comes back later as he seemed to have his eyes set on Lindsey at the end of his book.
Customer Rating: Summary: I love James Patterson books Comment: He writes in a way that is easy to read and draws you in the the story.
